Backgren
you dont think of Tartybikes when saying "other shops" do you :P :P" ? it says 31 quid incl. postage, so posting costs 6 pounds within UK ,right ? aaroncosbey
I bought a pair of creepy crawlers a couple of weeks ago off tarty bikes and paid £45 - at the time they said there was no margin and 45 was the best price they could do. bastards :-
AdamR28
The trade price has dramatically changed recently - speak to Raleigh if you have complaints... sorry.

I'm sure that if Tarty Bikes could have done them cheaper then they would have! Like Adam said if you have a problem talk to Raleigh about it and stop blaming Tarty Bikes! Like Adam said if you have a problem talk to Raleigh about it and stop blaming Tarty Bikes! ← Go siders lol, yeh tartybikes try to get the cheapest prices for all their customers, stupid things like this happens every now and then, thats all. Like for example, i bought say an mp3 player last year, 2weeks after i got it, it was in a sale at half price. These things just happen. :- :P
andyroo
Is it a temporary thing or permenant? Should i rush out and buy 20 pairs of tyres while i can?
Mark W
Does this mean the rear tyre alone would be laughably cheap? Or is it just that if they're a pair they cost bugger all? EDIT: f**k me! £12.50 :-
RicH_87
tis cheap indeed, and maxxis are good, but i prefer monty's on my steed as everyone should. :) :-"
Mark W
It's just weird how they cost less than the Luna front tyres do for the rear Creepy Crawler :- Edit #1: Bloody hell, pity it's £6 for P&P for the rear alone otherwise I'd have just bought one from SuperCycles, but I don't have that much in my account. Poopedy-poop! Edit #2: Just checked - £6 for the pair too.
eMAyaRKay
Just out of interest, do the tyres come in different compounds? If so are the cheap ones your getting the harder compound? Just a though on this whole cheapness thing, seems a bit weird.
OnzaNewbie
And if you go with tartybikes you get a cheap price and a good fast serivce :- Marc :)

(Super Tacky) And again, it's just raleigh have decreased the trade price, not realising the true protential and profit of the tyres. :- :) Edited February 14, 2005 by fatmike
eMAyaRKay
Well in that case it seems to be the bargain of the year! Shame I ride stock hey!

eMAyaRKay
By the sounds of it, it's just the creepy crawlers. How come they've done this though, it's not as if the other maxxis tyre were selling badley is it, so they had to release these at such a low price to compete. maxxis are one of the best tyres around for trials at the moment :P
Burton
i didnt know the creepy crawlers wer slow reezay :P its £13 for tha rear, and £12 for the front :P
Mark W
Nein! Either way, it's a damn good deal. It's weird that Raleigh have messed up the trade prices so much. Good, but weird :P Oh yeah, Sticky Finger rear for £12.99 or Creepy Crawler for £12.50? Tough call :P
Si-man
Think I shall be ordering a pair soon then :P

Mark W
Do you know why the price plummeted suddenly Ad? I thought Raleigh had stocked Maxxis for a while, so it's not like they wouldn't know what product it was? I mean, they used to cost more, and they sold pretty well even at £45 a pair, so it seems random they cut the price so much there's almost a 50% drop in the price for the customer...
