nb88
Hey all.... I'm using a monty x-lite rim atm and i used to have an alex rim which was perfect for braking with a grind. I just did a really nice grind on my monty, the same as what i used to do on my alex rims, and the brake is alright, but i havent got the big 'SQUEAK' that i had with my alex rim. It just makes a swoosh noise, similar to koxx rims. So...are these rims a similar material to koxx rims? The brake is well set up with a nice grind and koxx bloxx. Nozio. AdamR28
You'd be better off with the Alex (or a Ronnie/Echo, something similar)... the Monty rims are known for being soft material.

Brisa
Well i have just got 'my first mod'. Got myself an echo rear wheel (new cnc one) stuffed a grind onto it. Some new koxx bloxx. No booster and its amazing. I use a koxx rim on my stock. Grinds die in a day... Every one should get echo rims (or the onza alternative) they grind amazing. :S
