*OnzaMike*
I was thinking of welding mine as im able to use the welder at school... Whats the chances of the heat from the weld messing up the freewheel and the bearings etc? I may take it into school soon and do it, if the risks are low.. Lee_Buchanan
When i was told to do it, i was told to just put one little blob of weld over the gap.And it worked. Obviously then though its hard to loosen it if you need to sort somet out with it or something. Lee P.s Get a white industires.

nb88
I've used loctite on about 3 Claws, when i used them, and all my mates use loctite aswell. Just take off the lockring, clean the threads on the lockring and on the part of the freewheel where the lockring screws on to. Make sure you clean it well with petrol or something, and wait till its fully dry. Then put some loctite on the LOCKRING threads, not the freewheel. If you put it on the freewheel threads it can get onto the bearings and knacker it up. Then just screw it on tight, wait for half an hour, and ride. Can all be done on the crank, and its very easy. Has worked for me first time, every time :S
