jel
I've seen that lots of people are using a continental tyre on the front know, but i don't know which actuall tyre they are using. Does anyone know which would be grippy but light? Cheers for any help, Josh.
Janson
Conti tyres are very light, but not very grippy at all, very thin and wear quite fast. Stay far off. Conti Twister or Explorer are the most common front tyres from Continental. I'd personally get something else. Maxxis, Try-All or Michelin preferrably. AdamR28
Does anyone know which would be grippy but light? ← Nothing in the Continental range! Most people probably use a Explorer or Vertical, nice and cheap (£13ish), pretty large (2.1 or 2.3") and light (550g ish if memory serves me correctly...). Very thin sidewalls though, and hard compound so things get messy when not riding on dry concrete!

Rossi
Get the Maxxis High Roller 2.35 (single ply version). Not too expensive either. Rossi.
TheMunn
I have a specialized enduro tyre up front and i'm very impressed by it, but it has a hole from where I rimmed out super hard, but no puncture :S The next front tyre I will be getting a couple of day's is the new DMR moto digger, look's promising.
