Brian Bleech
Q: Roughly how many General Lees were used during the Filming of the popular Hilly Billy series, "The Dukes of Hazard"? ← The figure varies quite a lot actually, from around 210-350, but i think the correct figure is 309 cars were used and 23 survived, so i guess that mean 286 were destroyed as well! I have been doig some research into the general lee recently :- EDIT: Answer edited due really crap tuesday afternoon maths :"> :"> I think i was concentrating to much on pretending to do work instead of 1969 Dodge Charger's :wink2: Q: When you crack a whip, what cause the 'cracking' sound? Tomm
Q: When you crack a whip, what cause the 'cracking' sound? ← It's a sonic "boom" caused by the end of the whip actually breaking the speed of sound :wink2: Edit: and my question is..... Why do dogs have cold noses? Because they're wet.

Sam Nichols
Maybe :wink2: Closest answer so far ← Just thought i'd do some research and i found out that not ALL dogs noses are actually cold, just the majority. But those dogs that do have cold noses have them for this reason... A dog's nose can be a little cool and damp because dogs have sweat glands on the fleshy part of their noses. People have a lot of sweat glands on their bodies, and that helps us keep cool in hot weather. But dogs only have little sweat glands on their noses and their footpads, which isn't enough to keep a whole dog cool. That's why dogs pant -- they breathe harder to exhale warm air and inhale cooler air from around them. The small sweat glands on a dog's nose can make their nose cool and wet when a dog is too warm.
