Why is there a fan on the bottom?

cos it lights up green :P :D"

lol, i had a spare fan from my old computer so i just whacked it in down there. There are two HDD's above with barely any gap between them so they are pretty warm.

An extra fan can't hurt :-

The pc is normally cased up all around. Its only got mall vent holes on the side, no window and not many vents on the back.

I know its not the typical 'modified' pc and it looks a mess, but it ain't standard so i guess it still counts.

Well that fan isn't actually doing anything besides making extra noise :-

I might do something to my computer over the summer, need some ideas for shuttles though. They're not so easy. Might just do a window and some LEDs (Probably white).

my pc is queit as a mouse :-" (if it was loud i would remove all the fans and have a foot pump which i constantly pumped with my foot or something) - i hate noisey-ness.

Where about can you buy shuttles from?

Are they basically a small pc? so you can put most of your old stuff in it?

Yeah, pretty much. The come with their own PSU and motherboard, which has one AGP and one PCI slot. Oh, and cooler. So you basically use the same drives, cards, ram, CPU etc :-

EDIT: That MD site doesn't seem to be working at the moment, but I assure you that's the right address :P

Tis just using a cheapo £15 case with window already in it.

Pair of 4" neons at the front, and all the fans with LED's in there (apart from the CPU cooler) are on a pair of switches (the small blue lights on the front view are the power indicators for the switches).

Oh and its got a pci fan card in it now to cool the graphics card.

All the new fans have made it a little noisy, but i can switch them off at night, and they have served to reduce temps from ~50 degrees down to ~38.

I am planning on doing a build from scratch case over the summer, hopefully some nice little unique touches, hense the buying of reasonable fans etc now.

All those tubes cant actually be doing something, a load of them must just be for show :-

I am gonna be starting my 'modding' today, maybe some pics later today.

My case is the same as Bonneys :P But mine will look better :P [Hopefully]

I desperately need to sort my cooling out! Atm my CPU is at about 54 degrees and the case is at 36 degree's. Will hopefully be sorting out a very nice heatsink and fan this week! My current hs+f make the pc sound like its gonna take off so I need to get a quieter replacement that will also get the CPU temp down!
