Stan Shaw
Fair point Martyn :P I think the list should stay as it is. As for the course. Last years course was really good i thought, allthough it looked alot smaller than the previous year (Bike 03). Stuff looked alot lower down and not as high up etc as the year before, but the riding was still amazing so i can't complain. This year, i would like to see a course that really tests the riders, with a mix of "big" lines, and technichal stuff. Stan.
tank_rider
In terms of the course, i think last years was good, as there may not have been as many big lines as previous years, it encouraged the top riders to be inventive, which is when new things happen. i.e hermance wheel swapping onto the rail, marts 180 on 180 off onto the rail etc. Plus it meant up hop idolers could actually ride too. Last years course was really good, lots of obvious lines but with the skill and inventiveness of the riders loads more lines began to appear. If there are obsticals the riders will find ways of putting on a good show - thats why there at the show. Finally the rider line up in my opinion is excellent lots of different styles and lots of English riders :P. There are allways going to be riders we each want to see - I would like to see Dave Marshall there but others will want to see Wayne (for instance). Martin has been doing it for years and seems to have a pretty good method of working out who should be there so I am happy to go with the decision he makes. well done on consulting the forum Martyn even if you ignore all the comments it makes us feel good to be asked. :P Dan
Waynio
blimey charlie!!!!! i cant believe my name is on the list............... would be great to ride the bike show........... good luck to all the lads already riding it. well done ali for getting in i think an experience like this doesnt come along very often and the riders that go in there will do a great job. im always pleased to go out on rides and be with riders that are so dedicated to the sport and its quite exciting when you get to ride with "Pro's" and i think that every one on this forum and other trials riders are happy to have the guys that have helped get trials up to this level. there is another thread on here and about the actual list of riders and its a very impressive and great mixture of riders.........people should be grateful for the likes of mart and mart for doing all they do for the sport to me they are a big influence on me riding trials along with akrigg who i work with.................. someone bangs on about their list of "Top" riders and its a DREAM list, people need to understand it costs ££££ to get people to get to these events. and the odd good and quality trials rider in and amongst is awesum................ Waynio................................. i put many thanks to the people like Martyn Ashton, Martin Hawyes for organising events like the bike show where you get to see and meet all your fav riders. Akkers for getting me into it all them years ago..............well 4 years ago it is.

Team Ashton
Wayne you would be amazing at the show (because your completely nuts). whilst this is still getting looked at i thought i would take the chance to mention we have one more name to add to the list, we have been secretly trying to confirm it for the last couple of weeks, so until now havn't been able to mention it. But as of yesterday it looks like Ot Pi might be coming as well as Cesar. Cheers, Martyn.

trials_pimp
this bike show looks like it might well be the best yet in terms of riders, and with a switch of venue maybe a bit of a larger areana? It was an honour to ride (i use that term loosely) in the show last year, i was well nervous with all those top foriegn buggers, felt abit out of place. plus the bike i rode, i had never riden before. still thought i had the best hair do! i think it is quite obvious that if it wasnt for the marty/in's successes at world events and the subsequent involvement of trials at Bike over the last 10yrs or so, plus all the other promotional demo's they have done all over the country, then i would'nt like to guess as to what cul de sac this sport may have been left in. Twas good ambassadorship lads. anyway thanks guys for giving me the opportunity last year and for bein kind enough to give us a mention on the reserve list for the coming rendition of the bike show (just for the record if you did need me, i am always available). oh and a special Holla to M H for leting me do some of his demo's over the years, always a pleasure. and congrats on bein' the new UK delegate, not sure i envy you though! (Reakon if you could pass a rule to stop deliberate Dabs, Id owe you more than just a Drink!) well done and good luck to everyone already riding, or is going to be, and everyone on that list! especially Louis, be quality if she rode. anyway peace out, Baz Huskinson. trials_pimp
Yeah this is Lee Macaws account, he very kindly lets me use it from time to time, so i can post on here if something interests me. Ive probably only posted with my account about twice, just seems abit of hastle to get up-rated to use the other sections on this site, understand the reasons why it should be, just its time-consuming to add opinions to topics that don't interest me just in order to get into this section, time i don't have while i'm at uni. Sorry for any confusion. .BAZ.
