Fishwog
OK, I'm after some replies mainly from people who have used (on there own bike) an RB booster, AND an echo control booster. I have just ordered an echo control booster, and am currently running an RB booster. I am after replies to do with function mainly, as I have heard mixed replies about it. So, yeah, which on has everyone prefered function wise. I know the control looks beautiful, and comes with bolts that don't round off after a week, but is it good for flex?
Wayne-king
I have just ordered an echo control booster← so........you've ordered it, and now you want people's opinions?
Fishwog
yes. Problem? Your money? no
Dan@Trials-uk
Hey After using mine I didnt like it much, it was to heavy for my liking and also it gets in the way due to it being soo beefy. I prefer a carbon booster does the job, not much flex and super light. I dont like super stiff brakes, i prefer a spongy brake  regards Trials-uk
Fishwog
Dan, it's like 60-70g odd heavier than the average booster.... You wouldn't notice that, in any way. The hitting your leg statement is fair enough, but my legs are miles away from my current booster anyway, so I doubt it will be a problem. Cheers!
Wayne-king
yes. Problem? Your money? no (Y) ← my point was, why buy something and then ask what's it's like!!?? surely it would be better to ask peoples opinions, and then order it, depending on what you think about things other people have said?

Phatmike
Got mine last week. Seems awsome, stiffer than my XTR carbon one, looks ace. Good choice. Got mine (and my frame) from select bikes. (Y) Top geeza.

club_card
No worries (Y) I would presume your running two bolt then? ← no 4 bolt i prefer the look of the team because the control booster would stick up too much and look weird. dave85
no 4 bolt i prefer the look of the team because the control booster would stick up too much and look weird. ← The team booster is 10 mil taller though.... (Y)
totaltrials
The control boosters are light, super stiff and they look rather good. Phil.
AdamR28
The control boosters are light ← I wouldnt personally call 132g 'light'... but stiff, and good-looking they are! (Y)
club_card
The team booster is 10 mil taller though.... :- ← Oh right i didn´t know that :- anyway i much prefer the look of the team and plus its 70 grams lighter :- which actually probably wouldn´t make much difference thats only the weight of a snickers maybe a bit over but it all adds up (Y)
Trebor
yes. Problem? Your money? no (Y) Regardless of that it still seems like a no brainer :- I've only used the RB Boosters, but they seemed to do the job pretty damn well, whilst looking the part. Though if I were to upgrade from that, I'd go all the way and get the Shimano Carbon, they're the shizzle :-
Watson©
Shimano Carbon, they're the shizzle(Y) ← They sure are... mines is a stiff mother f**ker and looks damn sexy (Y) :- Watson
