magicflyingpants
just fitted my uci bash and white industries freewheel to my tensile cranks and there is a slight gap left and wanted to know if this will be ok before i use them. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....cmd=si&img=6136
TheMunn
I can't see the problem there, the freewheel will tighten more as you ride so it won't come loose or anything, give it a little test but i'm sure it will be alrite. EngageClothin
i dunno, if its not on loads u might strip the threds in on the crank. Needs to be on ova 1/2 way i would say. Thats what happened to my mates. Be Careful
JT!
Looks ok to me, its only a couple of threds. :(
Bergia
Be better if yer put a spacers between fw n bash.
Will Arnold
surely fitting spacers will worsen the problem!?! it should be ok i think with only a couple of threads showing.
TomN
I seem to remember that Tarybikes supply you a free spacer with the UCI Tensile cranks though.
Mark W
That's probably so if you want to take the UCI bash off (e.g. if you're on mod) you've got something there to put on in the place of the bash, so there's something betwixt the freewheel and the crank arm, for a bit more stability? andyroo
A slightly related to the topic question, but to echo uci bash rings fit on the normally bash ringless mod tensiles? Yum yum
