Nick Garland
Have you got any pics of yours big-man? Thanks for the help btw.
the666ers
Clive at leeson bikes does them and a very good job from what I have heard too. Now available, Leeson machined middleburn bashguards. Using your standard middleburn bashguard we are now able to machine away the excess aluminium to create a lighter more compact version. Price: £10 (when suppling your own bashguard There's an example from the website. You can contact Clive on 01933 314285, or email him on leesonbikes@tesco.net. AdamR28
I think these guys are on about Middleburn style ones Aust, rather than simple 'discs' for UCI setups (Y) An example of Mr. Potts' work: Any shape/size can be made - thats just an exampe of a before/after bashring

Fishwog
The picture above, that Adam posted, is the before and after of my bashguard machined by Edd Potts, and it was in such a state, and i'm well proud of it now :P Highly recommended
Will Arnold
yo, in my college the teachers say that a bash guard cannot be knurled because of it being to big in diameter. is this true? is there a way to overcome it? cheers. totaltrials
ah! :"> those stoopid teachers said it wasnt possible  silly teachers.......... yeah, i'll blame it on the teachers :P ← Exactly, the ones they have in schools/colleges are mini. You can do it with the small ones but cos it's only alu it will be ok, but you just have to push into it more instead of clamping down and make the machine wobble :P Phil.
