Also if the price difference is not that high it is worth paying the little extra. Going on my mum/dads insurance is not an option seeing as the main driver generally has to do most miles in the car. They both have cars already. The companies wont let me do it, as I commute so far. Or rather, if I did do it and tried to claim they'd say, well what were you doing driving to work in it every day, you're not the main driver. I just wish there were a way around the stupidly high prices but stay legal. Like driving over to france getting insured with a company over there then driving back... who knows. I'll look into it!
