Mark W
In fairness though, they're making parts that are often still just as strong? For example, Odyssey's forks are just as strong as Pitchforks were, but are over a pound ligther. Stems are getting lighter and still retaining strength (unless you buy a Fit S3 stem ), bars, cranks, rims, hubs, etc. - if you can get light, strong parts, why not? That Fly frame does look pretty rad though, I'm liking the new lower-slung frames, they just seem to feel nicer to ride. Anyways - Fitlife. They've pretty much come as close as it's possible to get to making a shit video with that many talented riders in it. I've watched it once straight through and apart from watching individual sections again I just don't really want to watch it all again. Brian Foster's section - super fast riding, slow song? Chase Hawk's section - super smooth riding, heavy song? Van Homan's section - big banger tricks 'n' stuff - relatively slow, quiet-ish song? It's like they just didn't think about it at all... Ah well.
spangler
I'm glad someone agrees with me mark all my friends can't understand why i don't think its the best thing since sliced bread. It just kind of makes me feel awkard watching it.Chase hawks section could have been really good if they choose the right song. Also i didnt really see any riding that i hadnt seen before from the riders which is unfortunate because they ride for so many different companys so they have like 3 video parts coming out in the space of like 4 months. Weight sometimes isn't an issue. e.g fly estampida frame- over 6 pounds. not very strong. Also some frames can't handle pegs too well either.S&M l.a.f i wouldn't call it strong and neither a Fit S3 mike aitken frame.S&M pitchforks lights. The new ones. Real bad dropouts. Suck tremendously.Old Fly Pantera forks. Slightly lighter but alot stronger.Does depend on who's riding what parts. With pegs or without."if you can get light, strong parts, why not?"I totally agree there though
spangler
I have finally got round to filming some more so heres a longish vid of me riding epic, corby, redditch and kingsnorton.10 points to anyone who can guess the pro in two clips Hope you enjoy comments appreciated Google video link
eskimo
That vid is pretty sweet. Your airs were quite good. And a lookback as well, so very almost. It went a bit lame though after 51 seconds. I don't recon you needed any more than the footage you had. Maybe so more lines and runs. Like put that lookback back to back with a 5 tap then into a tail to footjam. Good job. Do ride trials as well then?Epic bowl looks sweet! spangler
Thanks for the Advice.I don't ride trials much anymore, i enjoy bmx too much.I can click most lookbacks now I have only really got footjams in the past few weeks so i'm getting them on higher ramps now. Tom_C
Yeah that vid wasn't bad! Think I may have to make a little vid soon for a laugh, some of my friends are really good, sadly I am not lol. Really have to ride Epic once I past my driving test I reckon, great park! Also eskimo-how many parks has Cheltenham got? That park loks awesome in that Luke Peeters vid plus isn't there one called Pittville or something?Tom
eskimo
Cheltenham has a few things kicking about. There is a mini ramp 40mins down the road from the main park. Pittville used to be wood. The council started to removed ramps from as far back as the summer. Now there all gone. Its just metal now. Oh by the way Pitville is the park luke is riding in the vid. There is also a concrete street compless just built in Gloucester.
