Mark W
Nah, that Padded Cell trip was almost a month ago now, and he came back over from the States two days ago just to get some pics of some lines he wanted to do. He's the only one who came over, and he's just riding London with Marv, Benson, etc.
eskimo
That was cool. Is that epic skatepark? I really want to go back up there, best riding session ive ever had. That step up after the jumpbox is actually way too fun!Edit: Sick!Tom Who filmed that? Luke peeters shreds!I was there that day but couldn't even bunny hop due to bruised ribs or something that hurt too much.
James_Porter
This is a weird take on the bmx masters in Germany-different angles to most vids out there!Bmx MastersAnd this is a Russian vid, some parts of it are a bit vague, but stick with it, actually some pretty good riding in there eg fakie bunnyhop barspin! Considering the shit excuse they have for skateparks one of the kids is dialled. RussianTomany one know this chilled out tune from that vid? spangler
I actually found the fit vid boring apart from van homans section. It seems they chose the wrong music for the parts , and the riders wernt doing their best.I just left me cold , also the mix of all the millions of flow riders all over the place kinda made the vid a bit mixed up.Just my opinion. clockwork
yep! that was some propa bmx there...part 1 was the best overall(IMO)... but i thought Mike Aitkeins section was so cool, I didn't even know he could ride street like that...Good Find anyways P.S. I also agree with something that Manuel (I think it was him anyway) "trials needs to step it up a bit"so let all go out and cain our selves propa, like the bmxers do. Tom_C
what go brakeless? drop gap to manual Nothing's impossible! Remember that trials has only been around for just over a decade compared to bmx being around years and having a massive following ie large amount of riders. Danny Macaskill is pretty rad?Tom
spangler
I find it funny that all the trials riders want to be more like Bmx'ers.Bmx are starting to make there bikes look like trials bikes, look how low the toptube is on this fly. Tom_C
The bikes will never be the same though!Little gear or big gear?24" might just wander off into it's own territory though. When I started riding trials a few years ago, Leesons were the only frames I liked because they had clean, smooth lines in the basic double diamond shape. Then I got a 24" version made which had a low top tube and started to resemble a bmx. Now my pantera bmx is mint (although rusty) and I like it over any other bike I've owned. All the trials bikes I see now are made out of wanky aluminuim, are about 6 feet long in distorted shapes and have a colour scheme not a million miles away from an 80's gay fashion parade.Tom
poopipe
Bmx are starting to make there bikes look like trials bikes, look how low the toptube is on this fly.that is actually useful though, low standover = less sore arse, easier can-cans, easier whippy things etc etc. not that i'm personally anywhere close to being limited by the fact my frame isn't that low
eskimo
One of the real reasons for a lower bike is for chopping that extra little bit of weight off. Bmxers are just as bad as trials riders nowa-days for using lighter bikes. That may sound silly well it is!
spangler
That could be one of the reasons. Its kevin porters new sig framefly said they lowered the top tube to balance out the rest of the geometry, because its got a 75degree head angle and 13.25 back end it changes the angle the seat stays join the top tube areaIf you look at it you cant even put the seat all the way down cus it will hit the tyre.(wouldnt bother me anyway i run mine up a lil)I would just suck for people who pinch there seat when they barspin like most do when they are learning. RicH_87
Just get a longer seat post if you want to pinch the seat? or buy another frame...I think it looks good, but then again it's probably custom made for turndowns and tailwhips, not 1 footed no-handed endos or something.
