Stan Shaw
Yea the higher the hole = more spring on your vee arms. Usually go for the middle one. Stan.
Brian Bleech
The top hole puts the most tension on the spring and lower the least! Generally you are meant to put the springs in the middle hole >_< and then turn the screw/allen bolt in, to get (more) tension on the springs!! B) mike EDIT: damn to slow Edited January 22, 2005 by leedstrials
Shaun H
The holes are for the small pin on the back of the caliper to insert into. The higher the hole the stronger the spring tension will be. There will also be a small screw located near the brakes pivot point which can be used to fine tune the spring tensions of each caliper so you can get them balanced.
