Michael Hardman
My stupid chain is to short and adding another link makes it too long. I have worked out what I can do but theres a few choices just not sure whats best. 1) Get a half link for a kmc which I dont know if these are avaliable 2) Buy a 12tooth king kog (I run a 13t) 3)Buy a mtb chain (hopefully the length is better 4) Buy that half link chain I just dont know what to do, for all i no none of this methods may work. Bionic Balls
Is the chain old and stretched?
Michael Hardman
Chains brand new I thinkits the funny gear Im running. Anyway ignore allthat crap I have found half links so Ill be ordering some of them. Should make my chain that little bit longer so it fits. My chain is too short and the hub is is in the dropouts as close to the bb as possible. I can use any half link that says for use with 1/8 chains. Correct? Michael Hardman
Another thing customriders sell 2 half links. One says offset and the other doesnt. Are all half links the same.

Tomm
An MTB chain would be exactly the same, otherwise it wouldn't fit around the sprocket properly... But you got it sorted now anyway.
JT!
Read my profile it explains what type of bike I ride  ← So its a mod. You shouldnt realy have a problem to be honest. They should be able to take the wheel either right on the very end, or very close up. What frame is it?

JonMack
On my BMX I angle-grinded some extra length into the dropouts so I could get my Maggie set up well, then I got a new wheel/crank setup and the wheel went back to where it was before and I could still run my Mag fine.
