cleanbikes
The new Monty 221 PRO will be in the UK in time for Christmas. We're taking orders now, and at £673.76 for the rim brake model, or £714.14 for the disc brake model they're not badly priced. The new 2005 aluminium framed Alp is also up for Christmas orders at £350.43, and the 2005 Alp Magura at £492.25. With all the new 2005 models coming in, there's some 2004 stock to clear - have a look at the monty bikes on www.cleanbikes.co.uk to see the bargains! Tartridge
Quick question - what makes the 221 Ti twice as good as the 221 Pr?
cleanbikes
Quick question - what makes the 221 Ti twice as good as the 221 Pr? ← Check the specs out ... mostly different parts (not to mention titanium spokes, bolts etc). SamHolmes
Whats the difference to this and the 04 alloy 1 which is at £1000 ?
cleanbikes
Whats the difference to this and the 04 alloy 1 which is at £1000 ? ← Frame would seem to be different, more like the new Alp? Different geometry? Looks like it could take a seatpost? Not a lot of information on it yet, not even on the Monty website! Will tell you more when it arrives! Mark W
So how come the old 221 frame cost £530, and now the full bike costs just over £100 more? Seems a little strange  There've been cuts in the frame somewhere? Or is this a new bike and Monty have given it an established name to help it sell well... Either way, thanks for the info (Y) We could really do with a 'pondering' smilie :( Mark.

mods
The price isn't too bad though. Unusual for monty " . I think it looks set to be popular! I like it
that NBR dude
It looks very similar in shape to my new Monty
UKBIKETRIALS
I think all theyre doing is making a cheaper model as not everyone can afford a 221 TI, which i think is very good of them.
TheChai
it looks like the old monty x lite (Y) which is a good thing imo...
