manuel
Yer - Seinheiser are the best..... my in ear jobbies MX300's cost me about 7 quid from richer sounds :) and sound bloody amazing (plus the warrenty rocks) - they kick crap out of anything else out there... you wont look back. Dont be sucked in by expensive tat from sony and the likes they are all about marketing jargon and less performance. RJ
MattOnTheBmix
errrr my in ear jobbies MX300's cost me about 7 quid from richer sounds and sound bloody amazing (plus the warrenty rocks) - they kick crap out of anything else out there... you wont look back. i strongly strongly disagree, i had a pair, the left one went crackley, so i replaced them, it went again, ive had just about every pair of headphones on the market and i recommend the sony earbud headphones, they are £35 but deffinatly the best, last me ages, although you cant hear anything but music, like ear plugs, but the bass is amazing. i guess this is all pointless because your refering to home headphones! ellingtj
http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/icm_eng.nsf I've had my Sennheisers' for over eight years and I love them they are awesome, they cost me 65 quid and I could probably happily spend 150 quid on 'phones. Mainstream companies are shit!! like sony and panasonic. Also have a look at: Vivanco, Beyerdynamic, http://www.beyerdynamic.com/com/product/head/index.htm AKG, http://www.akg.com/akg_structuretree/power...dvresult,1.html Tim. the666ers
Sennheiser HD437's. £20 and superb bass mid and top. They are really good. I don't need any bass boost on my cd player at all they have such good response at low frequencies. I'd totally reccomend anything by sennheiser :) James Edit: here is a link to the phones -Sennheiser hd437 Edited November 2, 2004 by the666ers

Dai the Socket
Yes, This bump is a MAHOUSIVE one! >_< I'm looking for some headphones. They've gotta be proper headphones, not Ear bud ones. But I want sleek, smallish and still powerful and crisp ones. I saw some in "Bad Boys 2" really randomly. Sony ones I think they were. Silver and quite compact. I want them to listen to my iPod on when I go to school and stuff. Was wondering weather anyone could help me. Ps: They have to look good and not be massive. Preforably not huge and black neither. Silver looks purdy :(

Josephine
You should be able to find them cheaper, mine were £25 :)
Dai the Socket
You should be able to find them cheaper, mine were £25 :) ← Do they like cover all your ear? So you can't hear anything from outside? 'Cos i'd really like that. That's why i'm moving from Earbuds to 'proper' headphones. I want ones which mean I can't hear traffic and can hear my music properly. Also they're gotta be comfortable and not fall of my ears loads. I hate those ones with the foam pads on which just slip straight off your ears. I really like ones which cover your ear well. Thanks again Josephine. Nick Edit: Also I found some for £18 including Postage from here :) Edited May 23, 2005 by mod661
Josephine
They'll easily drown out anything outside, my only small niggle with them was they're less discreet than some of the proper beefy overhead jobs, ie other people can hear it when it's loud, but I suppose that the price you pay for having small light ones that you can wear with a helmet, it's a trade off I'm more than willing to make, up to you though. For that price there they are sooooo worth it ^^^ Joe Edited May 24, 2005 by Josephine
Tomm
My Sennheiser headphones are crap. OK, they are little in-ear buds and maybe I'm expecting too much, but they're no different in my mind to normal Sony headphones that come with MD players or something. MP3 players are a different thing - the headphones that come with them are invariably crap. Meh :) I had some Phillips wrap-around ones ages ago and they were great. As Joe said - not the most discreet things, but sound was really nice. Definitely worth getting over any ear buds that I've used (Providing you don't mind the look. I think they make you look like a tit...)
MrMonkey
Logitech Premium Headset - £20, pretty much 100% noise reduction and sound quality is completely clear all the way upto full volume. Maybe it's just mine and my sound card but these are pretty much godlike.
