Dan Clark Posted October 1, 2004 Report Share Posted October 1, 2004 Try and bodge a nut and bolt so the bb tool won't fall off the bottom bracket, or use a quick release with washers, that could work. Shaun Posted October 1, 2004 Report Share Posted October 1, 2004 Get some washers, use a crankbolt and bolt the tool in place. Get a breaker bar and correct sized spanner cup. Shaun Posted October 1, 2004 Report Share Posted October 1, 2004 If you bolt the tool in place so it has NO movement and you keep untightening, you will smash up the cup. So you have to free up the cup a little and take the bolt out and continue from there. And please ingore my mistakes in the last posts, according to Danslicktrix you untighten towards the handlebar.......
