A!!
According to Alans they have the same base anyway, just the senior has more padding. So all you have to do is strip it and clean the glue off, then cut it with a sharp knife to how you want.

A!!
It's just i've never really been keen on short stumpy seats really, something like an Odyssey Aitken or Fit ECCD would suit it really nice, but then thats just my opinion. And other than that it does look really nice
poopipe
I have a fat seat you're street to the core though. what looks weird about the seat is that it's positioned much like the active bit of a sybian. tilt the front down a bit and you might actually be able to sit on it

eskimo
lol i have now. landed hard on it trying 3 hops and couldnt be arsed moving it. it was still comfy though. That's why i don't like silly seats. When you come down (sometimes very far down) and you slip/miss your pedals it's annoying having to aim where to land your ass. With a big seat, it's just like hitting a pillow 90% of the time. The other 10% tends to be bails or ass to the tyre and into the frame, ouch.

Fixed Pants™
My OLD SKOOL Raleigh Burner, 1982 or something i think. Snapped the chain last week, put the wheel in wonky and tried to poweroff, wonky freewheel ripped out a pin and sent me flying.http://img503.imageshack.us/my.php?image=s...10custombi5.jpghttp://img507.imageshack.us/my.php?image=s...11customxa5.jpghttp://img507.imageshack.us/img507/9476/sl...ustomxa5.th.jpghttp://img19.imageshack.us/img19/2172/sl27...ustommu7.th.jpghttp://img230.imageshack.us/my.php?image=s...13customkl1.jpghttp://img510.imageshack.us/my.php?image=s...14customut8.jpghttp://img507.imageshack.us/my.php?image=s...15custommm0.jpghttp://img510.imageshack.us/my.php?image=s...06customxr5.jpghttp://img111.imageshack.us/my.php?image=s...07customaf6.jpg[Bugger links f**ked up, gonna have to click em, sorry. Fixed Pants™
So it is from 1982?You was a young'un around that time?I wanna sort it out and do some bmxing on it, but as you might have seen, the seattube is fecked over, need a vice, don't have one, and the tube is smacked into the frame as quite a few of them f**ked up like that... poopipe
Im not sure when they first came out - I remember people having them when i was in the first year or two of primary school so we're talking 84-85. I was quite jealous but then I got a 2nd hand skyway which pissed on the burners from a great height and i was pleased again. i really wouldnt advise chucking yourself off stuff on a 20 year old frame - itll ride like a bag of shit and break.polish it up and use it to pick up chicks (of my age)
Fixed Pants™
Haha, yeah, then send them to you?Need to get some new stikazz for it, if i can, respray forks, basically restore it and stuff, the seattube is f**ked over though, no going back on that one.Need to get the marker pen () off of it too. It was given to me by a friend who gave it to him, he was a bit of a white rudeboy and decided to graff on it a bit.So is most of it original? I've had to buy new tyres and have replaced the brakes n stuff on it, but apart from that...?I can get pics of hubs n stuff if need be.Wanna swap it for your BMX? I've had to buy new tyres and have replaced the brakes n stuff on it, but apart from that...?frame, forks, bars and stem look to be originalthe seat definitely isn't, cranks and chainring might be - its pretty hard to tell, pedals almost certainly aren't, not sure about the wheels either but I'm pretty sure the front one isn't. they didnt have pegs eitherYou'll be able to get sticker sets and stuff either on ebay or possibly from alansbmx.com. Alans would be a good place to ask about the original parts - or at least where you might be able to find them.- ermno, i dont want to swap it for mine, unless someone offers you a grand for it Edited June 13, 2007 by poopipe

Fixed Pants™
Just been cleaning it up n stuff, it's now rideable, bodged the chain up and bodged the seat up (excuse the weird angle).Beast.Gave the forks a quick clean.Cleaned up nicely.Took me a f**king age to do just that bit...Cranks and stuff.Stem, original?Raleigh markings on the rear rim.Rear hub is Sturney Archer which looks like an old company, build onto the original raleigh rim (fairly sure the whole rear wheel is original)Unmarked hub, definety not the original wheel
