CurtisRider
stop being gay, put your brakes BACK on both of you!im really liking yours mark, just nice and clean looking, i guess thats the effect having no brakes gives and clubcard-thats proper nice, but i can never understand why people want their seats so low and so steep? isnt it still impossible to nip with your knees for barspins?
Mark W
You don't have to pinch to do barspins. A lot of people get away without doing it. Either way, you can still pinch low seats, although I reckon I'd struggle with the angle of Clubcards just from a getting around perspective. I might put my brakes back on at some point, 'cos I did after I first went brakeless recently, but I just didn't really want them on. My riding's totally changed now I'm not relying on them, and it's just kinda cool really
CurtisRider
i just cant work out how to do them without pinching, ive tried and i just end up on my bottom ive tried brakeless before on a few bikes, and i just cant ride them like that, its bad enough riding without a front brake, let alone none at all, but i guess im just a gayboy mountainbiker at heart
Mark W
You get used to riding front brakeless pretty quickly, and going brakeless just requires you to change how you think. It's amazing how much it improves your bike control though when you have to rely just on your body weight and positioning to affect how it's going to move. I feel way more in control now than I ever have done on any bike I try and ride, it's great Well worth doing, plus you just do stuff way smoother. I can't really be arsed learning barspins 'cos I'm doing other stuff at the mo', but I just meant I can still pinch my seat. I'd rather not 'cos the nose bit sticks out to the side from time to time with my SL, but meh
club_card
Yea my seat was quite pointy i never got round to lowering it cos my seatpost is naf and fiddly. It´s a little bit lower now and so much more comfortable, if you look at the last pic the seat is alot pointier than the the rest of the pics its still quite pointy though. club_card
I decided to spray my frame again. And i put my seat flat to keep the people on the forum happy. Edited July 28, 2006 by club_card

Dan Clark
I found these pedals at work, both from completely different bikes, one has an allen key to undo them, one doesn't. They havge about 6 pins between them.Yet still spin and grip fine, so I'll leave them. And yes, like the camera very much

Michael Hardman
Odyssey Gedda 2 grips, I wanted thick grips to soft the impact on the front.I messed the bars up already with a nice over the bars stack, it was gong to happen sooner or later.Bars feel really nice, pulled a few moves and they felt like I'd had them for months.
