it's so good that your bike is dark green/grey and not black. i like the choice of classy white cable too, which won't lasso pedestrians due to the fact its 5 miles long.

what do you use to cut your cable down? as i've had to resort to industrial strength hedge clippers and it still isn't a straight cut. Those cable inners must be made from ww2 bomb shelters.

I've got a WTP Vector cable on. Don't ever buy one, they're shit.

Anyway, in this instance I used an angle grinder. However, to tidy it up I used some regular bike-specific sorta cable cutters. I generally use those for all my Ody Linear Slick cutting needs to, and I've never come up against a cable I didn't pwn :)

Joe will be pleased to know I've stopped smacking his poor old frame into walls and replaced it with a division - it wasn't going to take a lot more of that sort of thing really.

the main reason for posting the pic is that I need second opinions on which stickers to keep (if any)

I've got black cable and I'm going to blacken the evolver so it'll be all colour coordinated and poncy before i post another one.

so, which stickers stay and which ones go? (the hairy seat is staying til it collapses - that's non-negotiable)

I think you could do with a new seat jon :lol:

the hairy seat stays :P - not just cos it's so damn pimp but also because it repels light rain showers.

I think I'm with Dan on the stickers, the downtube ones are pre ghettoed and therefore must be cool.

Joe, I bent the huffy straight(er) again and it's provisionally gone to a slightly safer home (where grinding and smacking don't happen to anything like the same degree).

I do miss the incredible stableness a bit but I'm finding the division reacts a fair bit quicker - even if it is a bit on the loop-outy side.

I personaly say that all stickers apart for the the headtube sticker should go. And where did you get that seat! And how comfy is it?

The seat was custom built by Maher (one of the worlds finest coachmakers) using fur stripped by hand from the still warm flesh of a freshly trapped 500lb russian black bear. It's incredibly comfortable and smells of bears

Im not so keen on the HT sticker cos it's so bright and white.

I'm going to start with the silly toptube & seattube ones and see what it loks like.

Then its brakeless for a day or two while I strip and spray the brake caliper
