poopipe
I just used quite a few layers of paint on them, and I figured I'd probably just re-spray them from time to time. Seeing as it's so quick 'n' easy to strip my bike now, I may change the colours around a bit more often... We'll see. Got my new frame ordered so I've gotta hold back on spraying this frame before I sell it.Ian - do it! The Ride100 issue was pretty good, there were some decent articles in it. The DMC article, for one. But yeah, get on it!that's reet street of you mark - you should move to sheffield I'm off down to halfords for some matt black paint thenand yeah, what you getting next? I want a sunday or an inertia hades

A!!
Mutiny Burlish/Holdfast Josh Bedford sig frame. AAAAAAAAll good. Limited edition, don'tcha know? 20 in the country, apparently. For some strange reason when i was reading the bit about you getting a new frame, the first frame that i thought of was the Mutiny Josh Bedford frame, strange huh?. I guess it's because i was reading about it in ride where he was on about how his sig is going to have thicker tubing and the likes. Eitherway though, sounds good Edited January 23, 2007 by huck_it

rhythm_101
that looks pretty cool but I reckon you should have left the hs cup black to split it up....it's an internal headset so the "cup" is actually the frame
Sponge
Mutiny Burlish/Holdfast Josh Bedford sig frame. AAAAAAAAll good. Limited edition, don'tcha know? 20 in the country, apparently.Where abouts did you get yours from, out of curiosity? By saying 20 in the country, are we talking 20 made up of like 4 variations:?Raw 20.25Raw 21Grey 20.25Grey 21So 5 of each? I'm seeing if the shop that's offering me a trade deal, can get in a Bedford Burlish, as the rest of the Mutiny frames don't seem to be for my riding style, except the Sinister, but I want to see if the Bedford Burlish is worth a gander. It's just a street/peg compatible edition of the usual Burlish right?Might just have to get a hold of Ride Issue 100 just to have a look at the Bedford bike... It's just a street/peg compatible edition of the usual Burlish right?Might just have to get a hold of Ride Issue 100 just to have a look at the Bedford bike... Basicaly it's because Josh bedford rides the mutiny burlish (as you know), but it is a trail frame so has thin tubing and the likes, so it isn't really made for street abuse. Plus Josh Bedford rides pegless, so when he does pedal grinds the back end takes a proper beating. So he is now making/made? a sig frame that has no brake lugs, and has small grind plates on the chainstays so it can take the abuse being dished out. And he is having stickers made for it for the clothing company he is setting up (hold fast). But the bike check he has in ride is of his Mutiny Burlish, not his sig. So it might be worth buying it to read a bit about his sig, but the pictures of his bike are of the Burlish.
Sponge
I knew most of that already, but cheers nonetheless! So basically, Josh's Burlish will not be brake compatible, for those brakeless addicts out there? Also, am i right in thinking that the 4mm dropouts on the normal trail Burlish are still featured on Josh's? Thus meaning the Josh Burlish is still not recommended for peg use? Plus, are they gonna change the tubing thickness on Josh's Burlish from the normal Burlish?.. 'Cause the normal Burlish is said to be rather thin.If the Josh Burlish is what I think it is, then why's OBM got one?... Unless, actually, he's a pegless grinder too isn't he?Options, options... hmm. Now down to:'06 Captain'07 Captain'06 Eden'07 Sinister'07 NocturnalI don't know if I'd want the Josh Bedford Burlish anymore, as I have been a keen peg grinder before. Unless the dropouts and tubing thickness have changed from the normal Burlish...EDIT: nevermind, got a frame ordered, but which one is it? A!!
Got the freecoaster and sprocket on the other week, so i thought i would post some recent pics: I seem to of sorted out the slight problem i was having with the coaster when i turned the cranks round backwards. I think it was the small cone shaped washer that fits between the driver and axle stud, and when i tightend the axle stud it pushed against the middle of the driver bearing, making it very hard to turn. So i took it off, flipped the cone washer around so the smaller diameter bit was sitting against the driver, and problem sorted. I also weighed it today due to boredom, and it weighs around 28lbs, not bad me thinks when i haven't made any effort to save weight. A!!
Don't you mean not much effort? By that i mean you are running lighter parts which some of them cost more. The balance of the back? My mistake if it isn't.I would like to weigh mine. The only reason i have the new rear wheel was for the coaster to get laced to, as then i have one spare wheel incase i need it (plus it saved me the hassle of taking apart my other wheel). And yeah it is a balance rim (if thats what you mean), but when i chose it i wasn't paying much attention to the weight of stuff, as it was all over the phone to edwardes as they have no website. So like i say i haven't really made any effort to make my bike lighter, the only things i have done have been for other reasons And yeah, next time you have your bike out, whip the scales out with it and see what it weighs in at, pretty interesting to do. I actually thought mine would of been heavier than it is, so it's all good.

A!!
Get that chain in line son - at least get a nickel plated one!Do you mean the fact that it is really slack, or because it is actually out of line The reason it was slack, was because i had just put the wheel back on after taking my coaster apart, and hadn't tightend the axle bolts up properly. Why the nickel plated chain as well?
poopipe
baggy chains are good - they mean i can run a slammed backwheelnickel plated chains are shiny, your bike is shiny - ergo you need a nickel plated chain

Very nice, i love the colour. It would probably look better without the brake mounts though, but i guess if you decide you want to run a brake later it isn't worth giving them the chop. Looks very Cleveland-esque, which isn't a bad thing.
redsol
Thanks for the comment .I'm hoping to get a brake at somepoint, just happened that i ran out of money before I could.
