Brian Bleech
Just pinched my Tioga DH 24 at 35psi doing a just under 2m gap, didn't even land it that harshly, its just stupid, also just before i was finding that it wouldn't even grip on pallets, I was gaping and ass I kicked the tyre would wheel spin making me cock up badly.I really need to get a better 24" rear tyre, anyone know where I can get a 2.35 or 2.5 maxxis high roller? To whoever asked earlier, halo combats suck, they dent really easily, I managed to bend the sidewalls on my jump bike without even hitting the rim, so that when I trued one sidewall of the rim to within 0.5mm movement the other sidewall would be moving up to 2mm.Also needed truing every 2 weeks or so. The tornadoes are the same as atomlab GIs but with eyelets, so should be pretty nice. I put an atomlab DHR on the back after the combat and it kicked ass, completely indestructible.Personally for trials I've got a BMF rear and a Rhino Light on the front, great so far.Try CRC for the tires, I preferred the Swampthing over the highroller btw! The Holyroller is good too. I run mine at 30-35 psi with a Kenda DH tube, still lighter than the Swampthing, better for street and no punctures as off yet

tipsy Jock
I'm a bit out of touch with the world of bike parts, best choice for 24" rims? Sun Rhyno lites seem to be pretty good, I've noticed the BT ones too, mostly cause they're pink Oh and they have to be 32h

Thinking Moto digger front and some sort of maxxis rear. Lawnmowerman
What's the best gear ratio on a 24? I'm running 22-18 but it's too spinny.
eskimo
What's the best gear ratio on a 24? I'm running 22-18 but it's too spinny.Dunno, depends on what your doing. Obviously i wouldn't go to hard. Try 22/16. Depends on what you can change around, like the sprocket or rear cog i mean.
Lawnmowerman
I think I'll try a 16t. Just gotta find someone who wants to swap king cogs. Cheers for your help
monkeyseemonkeydo
I'm currently running 18/13 which is harder than my proper trials bike (Monty 20") but feels about right for trialsy moves as well as allowing you to get moving a bit when needed.Daveedit: that's with 160mm cranks mind you.
