Johnty Posted yesterday at 12:50 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 12:50 PM New to trials and bought a second-hand bike with Echo TR rim brakes on the rear wheel. Advert said they should work with a bleed so expected the worst but hoped for the best. Bled with Shimano fluid and both slaves are now leaking from somewhere around the piston. Definitely not from the hose connections. Is any maintenance that can be done to fix it? Looked around the board and elsewhere but couldn't find anything specific on this. Thanks for the help. isitafox Posted yesterday at 03:17 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 03:17 PM Sounds pretty standard for those Echo pistons. The only recommendation I'd give is to source some Magura slaves (or ideally a full brake) and swap them out
Johnty
Thanks for the reply. That's the general idea I've got from reading around as well. Seems like the best option.
