24" tyre recommendations

Hey, after any experience people have had with the varying tyre options available. I have Contis on my Arcade but am after something potentially a bit lighter and with a bit more of a 'nimble' feel if that exists!! Can see various options! I.e. schwalbe billy bonkers, maxxis rekon, vee tyre options etc. Open to people opinions on what to consider or any hands on experience people have!

Holy Rollers get a lot of hate, but I personally love them for street riding. My rear rim is 38mm wide which helps keep them from rolling over on sketchy landings and I run them between 35 and 40psi. On a Spank 33 rim and/or with lower pressure, they will roll over more, but I've never had one let go or ripped a sidewall. You'll definitely notice the weight difference from the Contis.

Kenda K-rads - the rubber gets hard fairly quickly and they lose grip, otherwise an ok tyre.

I liked Schwalbe Table Tops, but I can't find them anymore and they don't last long at all. They were best in the front.

Maxxis makes a Rekon in 24" and I know the 26" guys like them, but I've never known anyone who runs the 24" Rekon

I'm trying to order some of the new Cast Stunt Double tyres, but they don't have any in the US yet.

I've been riding Maxxis Rekon for over a year. Great tire. Much better grip than Holy Roller. Very light. Unfortunately narrower. The tread disappears quickly. I had to change both tires after a year of riding.

I received my Cast Stunt Doubles last week and had my first proper session on them on Saturday, heavy but very grippier than the Conti's.

I've also ran Massis Rekon's which are grippy, light but wear fast and I've found they pinch flat fairly easy if running lower psi.

I tend to run 30/35psi and still running a tubed setup.
