MaderaMark
Is this a common issue or I am just not good at riding? I haven't disassembled the hub yet but I am 100% certain that the hub ring got loose.... Somewhat similar to my Novatec/Factor SS hub before where the ring popped out and broke... La Bourde
Is the hub new? There is no engagement at all? That could be the ring, but it is not so common. Another possibility is that none of the pals engage: - Too much /too thick grease ? Is it cold where you are riding currently? - Some people had also broken springs, but all of them!? I am not an aggressive and I only ride week ends for less than 2 hours. Am I cursed? Freehub is intact.... Thread in the hub shell for the ring.... the end.... Daan
Friend of mine also had this with his Pro4. Seen it a few times on the forums here too. So not that uncommon for trials riders it seems. I've noticed Hope's QC been lacking as well the last couple of years, for the products I bought at least, while before that they'd always been solid. So that might also have something to do with it. Or you simply might be cursed of course.
MaderaMark
it breaks my feelings, expecting for longer use as I assumed the price point is way higher than other makes.... Though my Novatec/Factor also ended on May 2022, riden since Nov. 2020....hmmmmmm
Chakers1998
I've done this 3 times. It's common on the pro 4 unfortunately. Joacim broke his rear pro 5 but I don't know how, and whilst he was waiting on new hubs he stripped a pro 4. Chris King come back to SS! Yeah, now I understand you can't really do anything. I have one on my dirt jump bike so I hope I won't have any issue with it.

AdamR28
Is that in Chinese Yuan? If yes, its £150 which sounds about right, depending on sales taxes. Though if you've paid in MOP, that looks like about £170? Just trying to figure out if it's a genuine Hope part, in which case you should get sorted out 👍
