Maintenance Justice Posted November 1, 2020 Report Share Posted November 1, 2020 Onza moved to distribution with Moore Large and they fazed out Trials Bikes from their range due to lack of units being sold apparently. Agreed, a local shop used to have them alongside Handsome dog completes and I thought they were awesome as a kid! A £450 - £500 Street and comp bike in the hands of a talented riders all over social would be great to see but sadly production costs and unit sales are a big barrier to overcome. Yep, totally - they're the reason I got into trials in the first place as I could afford a T-Bird, but everything else was way out of my price range. When producing bikes you have to sell x many to make it feasible and for maybe the last 3 years its not been possible. We fell to maybe 90% reduction in sales in about 5 years. Hackskb Posted November 18, 2020 Report Share Posted November 18, 2020 I bought a 2012 (i think) tyke recently, and a guy came up to me whilst i was riding yesterday and asked the same question. It's definitely a bit too pricey for kids starting trials right now, hopefully the second hand market will sray strong for a while.
