Private Repress
So having picked up a another project frame and fork I’ve decided to do something a bit different with the rear brake. I have a few a few sets of old battered maguras kicking around, thought about painting them... but found with a lot of work they polish up quite nice! I managed to get the ridge where the cylinder is joined sanded out too. Not finished yet but already starting to shine put a good few hours in so far, and only the lever and one cylinder done, the front lever body was a practice, this will be a rear brake. Should look pretty swish on the bike when it’s done.
Stephen Morris
Looks like a labour of love. Good luck, I’m interested to see how they finish up.
LEON
That'll look excellent, I just don't have anywhere near the patience needed for that.

the judge
Ah that looks super nice! And if you can’t be bothered doing another lever, the front lever upside down is more than accepted in the world of trials haha
Scott Gibbs
Done that with some 05’s they come up really nice with little bit of elbow grease
Private Repress
I forgot to update this thread, I did finish it and it’s on my mk1 fourplay: Really happy with it, also managed to find a silver avid lever for the front BB5 (which saved me from further polishing!)
