Ross McArthur
So my Ashton Justice doesn't have a massive 4 bolt spacing to take 47mm rear rims. Putting using worn pads or tensile clamps to one side for now, has anyone tried using a front drilled rim (double or single wall), as a rear rim? My other option would be to find a DX32 (not tried looking yet but guessing they're hard to come by).
aener
I'm maybe a bad example as it's a different use-case, but I used Trialtech single-walled circle holed rims on the rear for years. Each would last about 18 months before starting to go. No landing on corners like trials with brakes though, so that might change things for you. Edit: Note that I only changed away from them because when I needed a fresh set they'd sold all their new old stock and had no plans to make any more. isitafox
Try and get hold of an old Echo SL front for the rear. Double wall, relatively lightweight, immense grindability and strong. Mines so wide I have to run worn down pads on the front

Mikee
Considered the inspired rims? Which are 36mm wide.
Cap
There is the Carthy front rim, double wall and 31mm wide, don't know what it would be like on the rear but its a pretty stiff rim.

Ross McArthur
I think I’d have to be a begrudging pimp and buy the drilled one at double the price Thanks for the input everyone!
