Rory Semple
I’ve been using the latest inspired bash guard on my bike for the last year or so without any issues. However I purchased a new one to use building up my new bike last month and after just a couple of hits there is now a bend in the chainring meaning that the chain won’t flow through smoothly. just wondering if anyone has had similar issues and if it should be fine just to attempt bending it back into shape? Cheers.
Mark W
Don't think I've seen that with the newer style one. Good effort though, that must have been some hit! If it's just the edges of the chain pins catching it, they'll wear through it pretty quickly so you shouldn't have any long-term problems with it. Not ideal obviously, but people used to have to do similar with Middleburn bashrings that used to catch a lot more, and they clear their own path easily enough. Robq7653
I’ve got one like that I’m selling as it doesn’t fit my cranks.
