Han
There’s this company called Extention Bicycles that produce street trial components. Was wondering what are your thoughts on their new carbon street trial frame? I honestly feel it’s a pretty sick frame! Btw it’s priced at USD1400... cwtrials
It could be ok. But that's a lot of money to gamble on the made in China carbon bike parts game.
Sandbugg
Too short for me any ways
DYAKOV
Frame geo sounds like a 20” monty frame
John Shrewsbury
It’s still in testing mod atm, and I believe there’s one being ridden at this time. Can’t give any further details. If you want to know further contact Extension through there Instagram. links below https://instagram.com/extention.potential?igshid=v2osh03gtksf
Rory Semple
Will be interesting to see how it rides and what they can cope with. Seems really short!
dk2
Looks kinda cool. Like the internal cable routing, and through axel in the back.
LEON
I feel like 5ft 8 is about the limit for this.
Han
Here’s how the bike would look like.
Swoofty
The frame looks OK, but that fork looks terrible; throws the whole look of the bike off. And yeah, that's really short even for a 24". Time (and marketing!) will tell I guess.
Han
Another one hit the street!
dk2
Kinda like the Black one, but not too keen on the forks, maybe a set of inspired forks would loke great on there ;-)

AndyT
What is this... A FRAME FOR ANTS!?!? edit: if the fork was a bit thicker, I would yearn to awkwardly put my foot on the front tire and spin the back end FOOTJAMMER HEAVEN STTREEET STYLE then look around to see if anyone hashtagged me into #fallow4fallow fame. Topsy
So, uh, what's up with this brand? Totally flew under my radar until I noticed a ton of people getting the same odd looking carbon frame. Seems like they're suddenly sponsoring people left and right even though then can't do four consecutive back wheel hops. (not having a dig at anyone really - some definitely are very capable riders, far better than me!) Also, how? I can't even seem to access their website currently. Suddenly made me feel quite like an old grumpy man wondering what this newfangled stuff is.
Swoofty
What the 24" world really needs is decent 24" carbon rims. Why is that so hard?

Swoofty
Yeah the choice is between 38mm wide or 30mm wide. I guess I'm too picky. How wide are Danny's carbon hoops?
Ali C
35mm I think, 38 is pretty good tbf
Swoofty
35mm does sound perfect. Light's spec sheet gives the 38mm hoops a weight of 430 grams for the AM version (the order page gives 400g for the AM). The Spanks are 426g so if the spec sheet is right, that fails the price per gram test pretty badly. If it's closer to 26g savings per hoop that makes 52g for the set and 2x the price. Not really tempted; I really like my Spanks ;-) Do you know anyone with Lights 24" rims?
Ali C
no I don't, they've not really been advertised much (I only found out about them a couple of months ago) so I'm not sure how many people are aware they exist

I think its the carbon smoothness that does it for me, I'm out of touch, but the geo looks a little backwards to me? last bike I had was a HEX which looks very different
Jere_h
Cool bike, but every time when I see this thing I can't get around the fact how much copycatted the design is from Danny's Santa Cruz. Of course a simplistic carbon frame can't look too much different (keeping it good looking and strong at the same time) but I mean simple brand things like the headtube badge, seriously.. Wondering what SC thinks about that lol.. Definitely not a surprise considering the origin country, just sad how they actually make some really great stuff nowadays and not even single try to make it 100% cool even though it has potential. They even have a pretty decent logo already (a bit too Trialtechy though?)... Hurts my eyes as a grumpy overthinking designer myself but for most people it's probably allright, especially for the new younger street trials generation which this is aimed for. That said, good for the sport for sure! Edited May 24, 2020 by Jere_h
Karlos28
It looks like your foot will jam in the front wheel each time you turn away from your front foot anyway! Footjam turns only!
