Brettoll
Howdy! So managed to pick up an Orange Zero frame and I was considering building it up into dual disc bike (my old one in the day was Dual HS33). Is the mount any good or should I avoid as it's made of cheese?
LEON
These days trials asks a lot more of a disc mount than it did 20 years ago, but from what I remember it never looked terrible, not "Giant" level anyway. It's pretty low profile, but it's also 20 year old Alloy.
dave33
They actually lasted a while back then and most people ran hope 185 rotors. Brakes are better now so maybe a 165/160 rotor would be ok and put less stress on it
Ross McArthur
Edit: Just don't land with your back brake on landing fakie out of abubacas. How hard are you going to be riding the Zero anyway? Edited September 2, 2019 by Ross McArthur
