Mark W
https://www.uci.org/news/2019/glasgow-and-scotland-to-host-inaugural-uci-cycling-world-championships-in-2023 TL;DR: UCI have created the 'UCI Cycling World Championships' which feature all their disciplines in one place. The first one will be in Glasgow 2023. The kicker is that they are switching to one every 4 years though, as far as I can tell. Not sure if they'll do individually discipline Worlds each year in between that, although they don't mention that if that is the plan.
Ross McArthur
Good to see wee Finn Johnstones face up there representing us trials lot. For those of you who don't know, Finns Dad David, plays a big part in the Scottish and British comp scene.
Ali C
If they could make a permanent trials zone at Cathkin that'd be smashing thanks (I highly doubt they will)
Ross McArthur
The Ali C sponsored Tree Section. I'm actually surprised Ali, that you've not vloged the trials park at Bob MacGregors! For those not in the know.. Glasgow Trials Park
Ali C
I do need to go ride there sometime but I must admit I've not really seen anything there that gets my juices flowing...I'm sure it's better in person though.
Ross McArthur
If you can make a vlog about riding one or two mossy logs, you wont go far wrong up at the park for decent lines.

The individual Disciplines World Championships will run every year as normal apart from every 4th year (the year before the olympics) they will all come together in one place for two weeks where all disciplines of world champions will be crowned. great for the first one to be in Glasgow. a lot nearer and cheaper then it will be in China this year
Mark W
Cool, makes sense Am I right in thinking this is the last year the Worlds are in China for now? Seemed to remember reading they had a 3 year deal covering 2017-19.
