marg26
The MT7 brake on my bike gets real squidgy when feathering the lever, such that it doesn't take too long before the lever reaches the bar with continued feathering. Release the lever however and then do a hard grab of the brake and it reverts back to normal. It's not great when feathering on approach to an obstacle to find the power's gone just as you need it. Have you experienced this? Does it just need a good bleed or something else?
LEON
My Saints used to do that, if I was really quick to pull it was firm, but if I pulled it in slowly I got way more travel. Probably air in there.
Jere_h
Having mt5/mt4 on both bikes and that sounds like air to me. They perform very consistently when they're bled, but any air in there and the lever sinks especially in cold weather. Unlike Shimano four pots that behave like the problem described but that's actually normal for them for some reason which is pretty incredible considering the price. I had the Zees over a year and got enough because of that and few other serious issues.
marg26
Yes giving it a bleed worked.
