Herbertlemon102
One of my Coust pads snapped in two while riding, material separated completely from the backing, didn’t realise that it has no tabs, it’s just glued on. Would superglue do it? Edited August 23, 2018 by Herbertlemon102
old boy chez
Would a 2 part epoxi be strong enough to hold it I there ?

Luke Rainbird
A decade or so ago we all just used to use standard superglue (cyanoacrylate) when making our own pads. The lack of tabs on the rear means no real mechanical lock which is a bit of a shame, but unless you often drag brakes lots then the pads are usually being pushed harder into the backing when braking, so it's really only to hold the polyurethane in place when you're not pulling the lever. An epoxy would create a stronger bond of course, but will take a little more effort to clean up if you want to put new material in place once it's worn down.
