dk2
Hi im currently running a Arcade frame with hope stem (70mm at 25 deg). Im looking to get a shorter feeling bike, with a higher front end as a bonus. My question is if anybody is riding the 80mm at 40deg stem, and pros/cons for it. thanks in advance. Mark W
I went from the 70x25 to a 70x35, and then made the switch to an 80x40. It basically gives you exactly what you're looking for. Those stems work really well on bikes with steeper head angles like the Arcade

Mark W
Winner May need to spend a bike of time tweaking bar position as they may need to shift a little from where you'd normally put them, but glad you're finding it a positive change so far. MAR3NAS
I don't trust aluminium bars. So I found few stem's 25.4 for steel bars, because they are much stronger and flex in a good way, and they are much cheaper. AndyT
wowww we are back to using steel bars? love it when we go back in time. One thing I’m not worried about breaking- the arcade bars. aluminum? probably. a great ape couldnt destroy them. If you are a 5 ton robot riding trials I wouldnt use them, but I’m sure your frame will fail before the bars in such a case.
