Archie H
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has ever done any sort of modification to a standard fork to make it fully internal routing. Not just through the steerer tube but also down the fork leg and out to the calliper. I was considering doing some hole drilling but I can't work out if it's genius or completely idiotic. Any advise or past experience would be gratefully accepted? Thankyou!

Don’t think anyone has tried it by drilling holes in the fork leg as it may weaken the leg of the forks and possibly crack. Archie H
Thanks for the help. I've already got it through the steerer though with inspired d's top cap, it was more the drilling bit I was unsure of. I know it's been done on MTB frames but as for trials I'm not sure. John Shrewsbury
If you start drilling holes in areas where I think you want to drill the frame/fork it will weaken and crack. The reason trials frames don’t have internal rooting or drainage holes is to stop cracks acquiring so it stays stiff for a length of time.
AdamR28
From my experience it works fine if you put the holes in good places - such as within gussets or in areas of minimal stress.

I remember your anodised Czar you customised. That was pimp and a good example of running hoses through frames!
