Crashpotato
Hi there. I noticed there are two weird holes in the dropouts of this frame. Do you think It's possible to use these for making a disc brake mount? If not. What's their purpose. Because I don't think inspired would put a thread in them for nothing. Felix_HBtrials
If my memory is good, those holes are for a basket... Because the Flow being a entry level bike, they purchased '' catalog '' dropouts to save on the overall cost of the bike without cutting corners where most important. So these dropouts are design for a '' touring '' or '' city '' bike.
LEON
Yeah it'll be basket or mudguard mounts for reasons above. Most general bike frames that aren't high end/really specific or custom will have them.
monkeyseemonkeydo
My guess is they're too close to the axle to provide sufficient support for a disc mount unless you can brace it back to the rim brake mounts or something. Is that a peg I spy as well? Touche!

Is that a peg I spy as well? Touche! That was my idea. To make a brace that has a contact point to the frame near the cantis or something like that. Yep thats a peg but that's not my bike. But thats a pretty interesting idea to run pegs on a street trials bike!
monkeyseemonkeydo
I ran one for a while in my old Fourplay with a custom axle on an Echo fixed hub and messed around with one on my Arcade but because of the disc it was never going to work!
Crashpotato
Well sounds quite interesting. But what about that brace / adaptor idea? There are a few of those around like this one :https://www.amazon.com/brake-bracket-frame-adaptor-bicycle/dp/B00I6IV782 My idea was to make something like this but way more tough somehow since it should be able to take the trials abuse. If it doesn't come with dedicated disc mounts don't try any weird adapters. They will not be up to the task of trials.
