roozor
Back into trials after a 10 year break. Grips that have come on my new inspired fourplay are rubber and very thin/hard. After a days ride I have to take a few days off due to mega blisters on the palms. I had an onza I rode for 2 months before this and didn't get any blisters but can't remember what the grips were like. Been checking out the lizard skin lock on grips that have loads of squares on the grip pattern as they look quite soft. Any experience with them? AdamR28
Do you ride with or without gloves? If without, try Trialtech Foams.
downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
+1 for trialtech foams... perfect thickness, so cusion your hands quite well and soft enough to stop blisters... iv just started riding again after 7 years off the bike... i get zero blisters on my palms... its my braking fingers that get the brunt of it haha.
trialsalot
Trialtech foams or ESI but they're 3 times the price.
roozor
Thanks guys. I'd prefer to ride without gloves but I did just buy some Jitsie airtime 2 gloves just in case. Edit - Gone with the trialtech foams from tarty! Edited October 25, 2017 by roozor
old boy chez
Foams all day long
Daviesdt
If the foam grips you bought don't suit try the odi stay strong grips. Had same problems you mentioned with hands getting cut up from inspired grips. The odi's are really easy on the hands, can ride all day with them. Ben Davies
ODI longnecks if you like that BMX look and all day comfort, oh and they are very hard wearing. And they’re only a tenner.
vRS
I've used syncros Pro lock ons for a couple weeks now and they've been the best grips I've had so far. Used on the mtb but put them on the breath now aswell. Thin profile, soft asf and super tacky with or without gloves
roozor
Trial tech foams didn't cut it either. Been on the ODI vans lock grips for 4 days now and it's been lovely. No hand issues!
