TrialsChris83
Hey guys I really need your help, I bought a full echo mk5 24 bike in january and have some issues with the echo TR brake levers. The one for the rear was leaking from the beginning and other one is, yeah…. , broken now I am thinking about a hope disc brake for the front and a good HS33 for the rear but want to hear your advice on it first. Which model do you recommend? I remember the HS33 having a stiff feeling on the rear with the old echo brake booster. What is your opinion about the modern echo sl brake booster btw? I could also buy a new lever for the rear and keep the echo cylinders but I dont know if it will satisfy me in the end. What do you think about the hashtagg levers? Thx bros! Yeah, the trialtech lever looks great, thank you! Tartybikes has got Hope "Trial Zone" and "Tech 3 Trial Zone" model. Are there any significant differences? What do you guys think about steel hoses? Mark W
Heavier, restrict fluid flow and cost more. Kevlar seems to be the better option for most The difference between the Trial Zone and Tech 3 levers are the extra adjustment and strength on the Tech 3 levers. The Trial Zone is a little lighter, but that's the only real benefit. The caliper on a Trial Zone brake is the same as that on a Tech 3 Trial Zone brake. And they feel better. Somehow firmer.
AdamR28
I think that's a personal thing - I think the Tech 3 feels really weird and don't like it at all!
TrialsChris83
Thanks to all of you who gave me an advice. I have a trialtech lever with hs33 slaves and tnn cnc black pads as well as the hope trial zone tech 3 brake with jitsie pads and the brakes are awesome! Nothing to regret here!
