Ónodi István
I'm currently using a hope mono mini disc brake with hope saw rotor, tried enough brake pads to realise that there isn't one for trials. On a mod, 160 mil rotor. I'm stuck between Hope trial zone/tech3 trial zone, no idea about disc rotor, jitsie pads looks like the way to go, any other things to consider? Kushagra Rastogi
Upgrade to 203mm rotors for full power, and if you like hopes then go for tech one instead of mono otherwise magura is best for trials yet i think (according to durability and power) And do not forget to get hope or magura adapters while upgrading to big rotor size

Upgrading to a Trial Zone is already going to be a considerable improvement and probably your best bet. Even more so when you install Trialtech or Jitsie pads. A cheaper but heavier alternative to the Hope is the MT5 but you'll need some aftermarket brake pads for it to perform on par with the Hope on stock pads. Definitely wouldn't go with a larger disc than 160mm on a mod.

niconj
Mt4 with Trialtech pads should do the trick as well.
