Perez
Hello guys, does anyone remenber a trials brand that has the lightest cranks available? I know they are lighter than the Monty ones, can´t quite remember the name of them. 158/160mm cranks. Thanks in advance.
cwtrials
The born cranks were super light.

Yorkshire Dale
sounds like they would snap too easy! why do u need mega light parts? jus learn to ride with what u are comfortabl with. you will be a much better rider than loosing a few grams off your bike!
Greetings
Yeah that's too true. Having a light bike is nice for the first ride or two, then you get used to it and it feels exactly the same. It's great for comps, not so great when you just ride for yourself. Makes the bike feel like jelly too
Perez
It´s not for me, it´s for my 7 yrs old daughter, trying to put a sub 6kg bike for her, i would snap those cranks with my fat 90kg ass in a afternoon :-D
MCoen
My daughter is riding trials as well, she is not 7 any more but I have been looking for light components as well building up her bike(s). The lightest crank I have had on her bike have been the Echo SL's. I received the same comments at that time that they snapped easily (even seen a couple of pictures on this forum) , but she never had a problem with them.
craigjames
If it's for your daughter I'd go for a set of the Neon light cranks or the Echo SLs, be more than strong enough!
Perez
The Monty´s are even lighter than the Echo´s i think, i have Rockman´s now, and im going to drill some holes, bike is now with 6005g, she will never crack them anytime soon, when that time comes i´ll change it. Thanks anyway for the time boys, pictures soon :-D
cwtrials
Post some pics! My 7 year old daughter is showing some interest in trials. Some of the super light parts are normally sketchy, but way more than adequate for a kid.
niconj
My 4 year old son is a basher already. He'll need some Saint cranks.
