Greetings
I always let the toast cool to room temp, then apply a moderately thick layer of butter and a thin layer of Marmite. Been browsing the net and apparently many have it on hot toast?
niconj
Just don't eat it. I tasted it once and wondered how it became so popular.
ItsMatt
Golden toast, hot toast, saturate the slice with butter, apply a generous amount of marmite. Consume the Toast like it is your last meal.
SamKidney
Marmite is awesome. Toast - White/Granary loaf. Lurpak/Kerrygold butter. Lightly toasted, generous amounts of both the butter and the marmite. Cheese toasties, add marmite, excellent.
bike_dummie
The toast has to be just past golden, crunch on the outside fluffy on the inside. Must be hot too. Enough butter so not all of it melts then ample amounts of BOVRIL. I also like spready cheese instead of butter to change it up. Herbertlemon102
Golden, butter, lots of Marmite, then Marmite crisps for some extra crunch. Tasty Edited February 20, 2017 by Herbertlemon102
Ross McArthur
On toast is for the narrow minded. Get that shit on some spaghetti.
J.KYDD
On hot toast. Every morning. Or, for a real treat. Toast a couple crumpets, then spread over with Marmite. Then top with cheese and pop under the grill so all the cheese melts down into the holes.
reece91
marmite is shit, Vegemite is the way to go (being Australian has nothing to do with it) Edited February 20, 2017 by reece91
TROYston
With butter, plastered on. My biggest issue with it, is when people try it for the first time, and slap it on like jam or some shit, and then complain. THERE ARE LEVELS OF MARMITE EXPERIENCE. Although the lotus biscuit caramel spread is now my toasted favourite.

Have you tried Bovril on spaghetti? Boiled unsalted noodles, preferably thin, drained and mixed with ample amounts of Bovril, and to finish things off some breadcrumbs fried in butter. anzo
I'd rather lick Anne Widdecombes arse.

Hot toast (white or brown, I'm not fussy), buttered and a good dollop smeared on top. Persephone is 22 months old now and loves marmite toast for breakfast
TROYston
Moved to burton when i was a teenager, but loved the shit before. One benefit of the fireservice was free marmite on 'risk' inspections. Like the catering sized tubs. Purely for home use. I must say, there are times when you drive past the factory and the smell is horrific.
Topsy
I tend to mix it into mashed potatoes.. Not sure I've actually ever tried it on toast or with butter. Sometimes spread a tiny bit on brown bread.
Scott Gibbs
Drizzled on roast potatoes is also a winner!

I often go to a petrol station near a greggs factory. It often smells like donuts. It's awesome.
