I don't get why they're going for more of the cinematic shots as opposed to more of a reality feel. Epic races and cheap car challenges etc was for me the best parts but they haven't done either yet. Regarding the stream quality, with the 4Mbps I get at home, prime streaming was very poor quality and choppy. However, I can stream Netflix absolutely fine, even in HD as long as someone else in the house isn't doing any other sort heavy downloading. I too thought episode 2 was a bit lame. Top Gear has pretty much always been scripted, and they got slated for it with the hover-van segment, which i remember them addressing in the following series, so why are back with equivalent stuff. They need to do some Gran Tour specials, and visit some places, set challenges and such. A random star being killed is as entertaining as star in a reasonably priced car. I hope episode 3 holds more.... Also spinning.... how cringey, and also they mentioned Australia when saying places where you wouldn't get away with it, i was under the impression rotory and v8's doing burnouts and donuts was their thing? Still seems like there are a few format and content bumps they need to work out; definitely doesn't seem as polished as TG was. Hopefully that'll come with a bit of time.
