Guest Jon
Location: Portsmouth, UkOK, i didnt know the guy, i am sorry for that. I attended a ride today in Portsmouth where we held a minutes silence for Deej. He must have been one heck-of-a-rider, cause everyone was well up for respecting him! And I am not one to dismiss personal opinion, having read the posts he has following this devestating occasion, he must be a top man, and I for one wish I had met and rode with him! R.I.P Deej. were all there with u in some small way. Thoughts to his parents and close people.......

Guest Justin
Location: ReadingI used to ride with DJ quite a bit back when I did ride. It was an honour to ride with someone so understanding, generous and determined. I went round one Hampshire comp with him, only just beating him. DJ never let that sorta stuff get the better of him, though - he just rode for fun. I think that's what summed DJ up. Suffice to say, he went on to become a much better rider than I ever could be. I don't think I'll ever forget our little "Maxie Powers" joke. That had me in stitches for good while.

Guest Stephen Morris
Location: Leighton BuzzardDJ was the funniest member of Trials-Forum bar none. His love of life, and trials in particular is clearly apparent from his posts on here. You'll be in our hearts for many years to come, it's going to be a shame to see the sport evolve without you being a part of the progression. Rest in peace David. Guest Bruce Wagner
Location: Baltimore,Maryland U.S.A.I didn't know DJ, but to lose a friend or family member is the worst thing ever, and unfortunately, it's even harder when that person is young and healthy. I've lost some of my best childhood friends, and also a few month old nephew, so I've been there before, My deepest sympathies, and heartfelt condolences go out to the family and frinds, I'm sure he'll be missed, but always rememberred also. Guest Tom Busfield (aka hititfaster)
Location: NottinghamI can't say I knew Deej so well, but I did have the pleasure of meeting him once, in Reading during the SM ride. Everything people have said about him beforehand and now seemed so true. My words have little strength when placed beside those of his closest friends and family, but they do have emotion all the same - I'm not afraid to say I shed a tear for him when I was reading these posts. It's hard not to when you hear that a life like his has been TAKEN in such a way. I have a black band on my bike for you mate. My thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in peace Deej. You won't be forgotten. Tom
