Guest Alex Markwart
Location: Canberra, AustraliaDJ, ive been thinking about this a lot since i found out about this tragedy. I live in Australia, and have only spoken to him a few times on IRC. Just from talking to him on there i know he is a fantastic person. He was so kind, and did not just give me short answers, he got engaged in the conversation, gave me hints and we had some great talks. I know that he is even greater than i could imagine, he is such a strong character, so so much fun. i know this from seeing many videos with him in, he seemed to be high on life. DJ, you were an inspiration to so many and will continue to be for a long long time to come. this still has not completely sunk in, i never thought this would happen, its impossible. DJ, i, like many others who did not know you very well, feel somehow connected to you, and you will live on in my memory forever. Rest in Peace David Jones. Guest Rachel
Dj was my first boyfriend and the only person i have ever loved. He touched the heart of every single person who was lucky enough to meet him. To say he will be missed is the biggest understatement imaginable. He would reach for your hand and touch your heart. One of the cards at the sight told the truth ' only the legends die young' he was and will always be a legend. Sue, Charlie, Adam and Sam miss him so much and really appreciate all the flowers and notes. Thankyou to everyone who put them there. I dont think he realised how many people loved him. Guest Stuart Adams
Location: SwindonDJ was one of the first trials riders i met out of swindon. i met him just before he decided to Gro' the 'fro. i still remember him rolling down the steps and screaming "maxie!!", what a ledgend!. I have many fond memorys of rides, us lot getting hyper on red kick, messing up trains and shouting abuse to passers by. When Ben (Rowlands) phoned me up on friday evening and imformed me of this very shocking and sad news, i just said "oh...shit" i could not think what to say. DJ was a great mate, great rider and genrally a great guy. It has still not sunk in properly yet as i was not expecting this to happen. All my deepest thoughts go to David's family, Em, and to all who knew him as a mate, rider or and other way. R.I.P. Deej, You will be missed greatly. DJ, Gone but never forgotten.
