ooo
I find that my TNN ADM's stop working when it gets really cold. Would using a pad with a softer compound work better for the cold ? Cheers
Bottleneck
I used TNN LGM and Heatsink Yellows last winter at -30 centigrade. The brakes were working better than my fingers, that's for sure!
cwtrials
My cousts worked ok in the cold. Generally speaking all pads will not work as well when temperature drops below freezing.
Tony Harrison
I've always found the Magura red ones work fine.

So did cousts work better than other pads you tried or do you mainly use cousts ? Also do you have any idea how hard these are compared to other pads ? SamKidney
Strange one, my ADMs worked brilliantly in winter. LGMs are a good all weather pad
Bottleneck
Actually I used the yellows on rear and LGM's up front on a stock and LGM's at the rear on a mod. I guess I should add that they use this nasty road salt thingie in Moscow which renders any pads pretty much useless... but when I avoided letting this stuff touch the rims, the brakes were good enough. DK.
Coustpads are just the best pads for everything. Although PhatPads were superior in my opinion - R.I.P Phatpads!!
craigjames
Coustpads are pretty damn good in all conditions, as were Koxx (TK) browns and reds. Gonna have to disagree with Danny about Phatpads though, most inconsistent pile of poop you could put in a HS33. But each to their own.
