niconj
As you can see in the picture it doesn't really align so well as the Magura slave hits the leg of the fork. Would it be possible to put some washers under the clamps or are there any clamps that are a bit higher? It's in both sides.
AdamR28
Yep, that works well.

I'm curious whether the other forks have the same issue. Didn't expect that from Trialtech. Edited August 9, 2016 by niconj
AdamR28
Could it be that the clamps are 'weird' rather than the forks?
ooo
the uneven curved gap by the weld makes it look like the mount its attached in the wrong place ?
AdamR28
Good point, worth checking with where you bought them.

craigjames
Yeah those mounts are not welded on square at all!
Mark W
When we first got them in the mounts looked pretty low - checked them with a few different clamps and they fitted fine. The Racing Line clamps are anomalous in a way, they're not made with the same dimensions as other clamps in the sense they have a weird slot spacing, but they're also mega thin/low profile to save weight. This means the cylinders sit nearer the frame/fork, so in this case it's catching the fork. The curve on the rear of the brake mount itself doesn't quite match the curve of the fork leg, but they still seem to be square (having checked a set of ours): Apologies for the shit photo, it's dark-ish in here so hard to really get it to show up. Ross McArthur
So the Trial Tech SL forks cant be used with clamps which are designed to save weight. Doh!
Mark W
They're not SL forks. If you particularly want to use low profile clamps you can run washers underneath, as said before. Clamps + washers = less weight than "heavy" clamps.

Ross McArthur
Picture is blocked in work. Ill check it out later. edit. Nice red arrows. So if Sport Lite isn't SL, what is SL? Edited August 9, 2016 by Ross McArthur

Felix_HBtrials
You will get the same '' issue '' with those RL mounts on a Crewkerz Jealousy frame. However, the fit on the Jealousy is perfect, the cylinder touches the frame, but still sit straight. Using other clamps the cylinders have a gap with the frame.

I will swap my Echo TR clamps on the rear to the front and vice versa. Will see how that works. Judging from the height of the Echo clamps it might not be enough. The easiest way would probably be to get 4 1mm washers... Edited August 9, 2016 by niconj
Paperclip
I thought trials had established that racing line was shit by now. Going by the cranks and the brakes that leak. This thread can't really imply that trialtech are at fault. Im lost by the SL question in this thread? I thought the trial tech SL just stood for Sport Light so you guys just be confusing that and Echo SL? The big question is what the hell does TR stand for? Money's on Totally Rubbish. AdamR28
Trials Rider. SL is top end Trialtech. Sport Lite is next (lighter versions of Sport level products). Sport under that. Race at the bottom.

Never really had any issues with my Racing Line levers. Judging by the looks of Echo TR clamps (in comparison to the Racing Line) they won't fit either. Mark W
If that measurement is 3mm or less you're fine.
niconj
Echo TR Brake clamps don't fit either. I have mounted some Echo SL with the alloy washers. Fits fine it's just a pain in the ass to set up and kinda ugly if you're used to the other clamps. Ross McArthur
If it makes you feel any better, I have to run washers on the back of my echo. Annoys the shit out of me. Edit. That reminds me, I have to sort out that tape on the back of my pads. Edited August 19, 2016 by Ross McArthur

Luckily Hope offer them.
