bikeperson45
Just curious where people's biggest callous is, does it being on my left hand mean I need to sort out my back brake? Edited May 6, 2016 by bikeperson45

MartMini
Mine are pretty equal on my pinky, ring and middle finger on both hands. I suspect that's where the main load is when im gripping handlebars, and my index fingers are fine due to one finger braking.
isitafox
I cut mine off, have a special tool with a razor blade for shaving them down then use a pumice stone and moisturiser.

I've never cut mine, but rubbing them down with a pumice stone is one of the best feelings ever! Edited May 6, 2016 by AndrewEH1

jeff costello
below middle and ring finger both sides, in spite of using gloves all the time (i rode once in the rain without gloves and got multi-storied blisters for months...) and i can't stop picking /biting away the dead skin, which makes everything an ugly infected mess! Mark W
If you need to trim a little off, just using one of the spare heads from a razor works well. You can use emery boards to shape them a little if you need to as well, as that seems to help stop them tearing/ripping. Got that weird half-palm callous too. Since I've started bouldering more it's also caused a battle between holds and my grips as to where my callouses go. Bouldering stretches and smears them up towards all the finger joints, riding seems to need them lower down.
Ali C
none on my fingers and hardly much on my palms either, the only one I do have is on the inside base of my thumb where I wrap it around the bars

SamKidney
Both my index/braking fingers and largest are below my middle fingers. My hands are pretty much ruined from working on cars all day too which has kept them leathery even when I've been off the bike for extended periods of time.
