BikeTrial Federation
Getting ready to travel to sunny (?) Scotland to the Bob Macgregor comp and we receive an email asking us to recommend riders for a new TV programme coming out! We'll certainly be watching you all this weekend!!! Late entries still welcome (or is that blackmail?)!
BikeTrial Federation
British Trials Cup - Round 2 2016 - Bob Macgregor Trials Park Another great trial on Sunday 1st May at Bob Macgregor's, a very wet start to the day but the rain stopped shortly after the start leaving the sections a bit muddy for the first lap. The sunshine helped to dry them up in time for the second lap. Everyone completed the course of eight sections with not one person retiring which suggests everyone enjoyed it, backed up by the verbal feedback afterwards. Many thanks to the venue organisers, and to the Clerk of Course and his helpers for such good sections. We had planned on running another fun speed section at the end of the event, but everyone wanted to get off home - perhaps earlier next time! Ross McArthur
Cheers for the great trial everyone. Chuffed there is now an expert senior category. No more being beaten by 12 year olds I posted this in the videos section but in case anyone missed it.
kevind
Hope you all had a great day. Weather did play a big part in the results. Thanks to Bob Macgregor Academy for the use of the venue. Rab and Jim for building the obelisk, that took two of Jack and that keeps the COC happy.(although he did manage to clean it after a few more practice tries after the event). Swiggy and Judy kept everybody well fed throughout the day. Big thanks to all the officials and helpers. Looking forward to the next one with all those great sections. Great Saturday night with the Highlanders with camp fire, live music, beer and way to much whiskey, just how Saturday nights should be. We all need to chip in for a tent for a nameless highlander who managed to get stuck under Stephs van all night in his sleeping bag in horrendous weather. Good pic of Aaron.
